Notestra is a lightweight notes app for people who want to own their ideas. EU-based, encrypted at rest, and available everywhere — web and Android.
Free while Notestra is in alpha, Premium features included. No payment details, nothing to cancel. What happens after the alpha

Notestra keeps things simple — just the tools that matter, with no bloat in between.
Servers and data stay in the EU under European privacy law. No transatlantic data transfers, no surprise jurisdictions.
The same account works on your desktop browser and on Android via the native Expo app.
Notes are AES-encrypted with your own 32-byte key. No key, no read — even for the server operator.
Organize notes across multiple boards and tag them for quick filtering. Premium users get unlimited workspaces.
Export every note as markdown in a ZIP on any plan, free of charge. Premium adds imports from Google Keep and Notestra archives.
Manage your profile, language, theme, and subscription from one tidy settings panel.
Notestra is in open alpha. Every account gets the complete app, every Premium feature and no limits, for free, and there is nothing to buy: Premium is not for sale yet. That will change, because hosting, backups and email cost money and Notestra has no ads, no investors and no plans to sell your data. The whole plan is written out below.
No date is fixed yet, and the prices above are our intention, not a binding offer. There is nothing to buy today. If they change before we open payments, this text changes with them.
The core of Notestra with sensible limits for casual use. This is the plan you fall back to when the alpha ends.
Free now and after the alpha
Same app, no limits. Included with every account for as long as the alpha runs.
Included automatically. Nothing to buy, no payment details.
No credit card. No subscription running in the background. Hosted in the EU.
The Notestra Android app is built with Expo and talks to the same account you use on the web, no separate registration. It is in open alpha: not in the Play Store, you install it yourself from a link in about two minutes. There is no iOS app yet.
